For Fall 2005, New Balance Athletic Shoe, Inc. will launch a new line of innovative footwear for the performance athlete. Since better fit leads to better performance, all in-line New Balance shoes are available in multiple widths and sizes.
RUNNING
For Fall 2005, the M/W970 will be introduced in the Cushioning segment of the running category. New Abzorb® EX premier cushioning technology in the heel and forefoot provides exceptional shock absorption and combines with a C-Cap® midsole and a Stability Web® for lightweight flexibility and cushioning. The all-new N-VentT midsole ventilation system provides for optimal airflow, the N-LockT system offers midfoot support, and a gusseted tongue works to keep debris out of the shoe, making the 970 a perfect choice for unsurpassed performance, fit and feel. The 970 will be available in two colors for men and one color for women in July. MSRP = $85.00
fast-paced training shoe for the performance runner looking for added support, the M/W901 will debut in the Lightweight segment of the running category for August 2005. Featuring Abzorb® SBS cushioning in the forefoot, Abzorb® cushioning in the heel and an Acteva LiteTM midsole for optimal compression set, the 901 unites cushioning and support with the TS2® pronation control system and the N-LockTM system for midfoot support. An N-Durance® outsole ensures maximum durability in high wear areas, while air mesh uppers and a blown rubber forefoot guarantee a lightweight ride. MSRP = $100.00
The M/W691 will launch in the Cushioning segment of the running category for June 2005. Designed with an innovative Abzorb® cushioning system in the heel, a C-Cap® midsole for additional cushioning and flexibility and unique mesh treatments and reflective details; the 691 appeals to both the serious and recreational runner seeking a smooth ride with cosmetic appeal. An N-Durance® outsole also provides maximum durability in high wear areas. The 691 will be available in three colors for men and women. MSRP = $70.00
TRAIL
The latest shoe in the Identity collection, the M/W004 will debut for June 2005. Combining comfort and breathability in a hip, fun style, the 004 features Abzorb® cushioning in the heel and the forefoot for exceptional shock absorption and injected molded EVA for a lightweight, cushioned fit. A molded sockliner provides a custom feel and 360-degree reflectivity provides a safety feature for night running. MSRP = $65.00
TRAINING
A lightweight runnable trainer, the MX815 will debut for men only in the Cushioning segment of the training category for Fall 2005. Featuring an Abzorb® sock insert, Abzorb® cushioning in the heel and forefoot and an Acteva LiteTM midsole for optimal compression set, the 815 is designed to provide maximum cushioning for high intensity workouts. A Stability Web® offers superior midfoot support in addition to an I.S.STM Internal Support System and a TPU Support Cage. The uppers are constructed with lightweight breathable mesh and are available in four different colors for July 2005. MSRP = $80.00
The MX/WX715 will launch in the Lightweight segment of the training category for July 2005. A lightweight trainer designed to provide an optimal blend of speed and comfort, the 715 features Abzorb® in the heel and forefoot for exceptional shock absorption and a Stability Web® for superior midfoot support. Mesh uppers offer breathability and support straps lock the foot in place. MSRP = $70.00
